YES! Jennifer Holm was met with a full house of adoring fans! She kept us entertained while explaining some of the process of creating a graphic novel when the illustrator lives clear across the U.S. She helped us make up stories and encouraged us to illustrate. It was awesome!

Association of Comic Minded Enthusiasts-A.C.M.E.

The Association of Comic-Minded Enthusiasts were in the house with their special powers ranging from "Zapping" Searing, Flying & Heat Vision. Little did we know many of these wannabe graphic artists deal with evil at home.  Evils dads, stinky feet and wicked laughs were some secrets revealed.  In spite of their daily exposure to these evils our super heros confessed to performing amazing rescues of animals, drownings friends, and mad vacuum cleaners.

A Hicklebee welcome to Dan Santat-Dan introduces Shocker, the sheep. Shockers superhero costume is made from a polyester jumpsuit and lightening bolt sunglasses.  He is ready for Baaaa..ttle!!
